Access and sanitation for
women with disabilities

Society has finally started raising its  voice for women-inclusive, period friendly public spaces & workplaces. But we are still a far, far cry away from building spaces that are accessible to people with disabilities. Toilets, public transport, restaurants, roads - none of the infrastructure is tailored around people with disabilities.

How many times have you seen a visually impaired woman going about independently in public spaces? How often have you seen menstrual health awareness targeted towards women with disabilities?

How can we foster inclusive language & spaces that factor in the problem of access & sanitation of women with disabilities. Neha Arora working for disabled friendly travel, tells us the how & what.
